Wise Owl Prep's Focus on the ACT

Wise Owl Prep’s Focus on the ACT class is designed to provide students with last-minute instruction and support as they head into their ACT exam.  This class will five sections of the ACT—English, Reading, Math, Science and Essay. We will also cover a few key strategies for success on each of the sections, including:

1.      Common types of questions on the ACT English section, and common wrong answer choices;

2.      How to identify various question types and manage your time on the ACT Reading section;

3.      A few types of questions to expect on the ACT Math section, and how to address each one;

4.      How to race through the ACT Science section (and still score well!);

5.      The ACT Essay-- how to outline your paragraphs and address all parts of the prompt
